An opportunity to get a ball in players’ hands and time in the gym. A good way for anyone new who might be interested in trying the sport before registering for the winter season. Winter registration opens in August.

Open Gym sessions for Boys Entering Grades 3-7 in the 2026/2027 school year:

Fridays: 7-8pm

June 26; July 10, 17, 24, 31; August 7, 14

Sundays: 12-2pm

June 28; July 12, 19, 26; August 2, 9, 16

Open Gym sessions for Girls Entering Grades 3-6 in the 2026/2027 school year:

Fridays: 5:30-7pm

June 5, 12, 19, 26; July 10, 24

Lower Windsor Township Gym, 2425 Craley Road, Wrightsville (lower-level parking lot).

Free! Please accompany your player(s) each week to sign them in and acknowledge the liability release to participate.

DO NOT bring a basketball. Equipment will be provided.
Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. No jewelry. No hats.
Water bottles are encouraged as there is no water fountain available.

We are excited to announce our 1st Carnival, continuing the long-standing tradition of what was formerly known as the Hellam Recreation Carnival. While the name has changed, our mission remains the same: to provide fun, safe, and memorable community events for families throughout Eastern York.

NOTE: Credit cards have a 3% convenience fee. VISA/MasterCard/DISCOVER accepted.
Some programs may require an alternate registration (on-site or another link).
For some programs, you can register by mail or drop in with check or cash.

Resident Fee applies to the municipalities that annually contribute to EYRA - Hallam Borough, Hellam Township & Lower Windsor Township. If you use Hallam or Hellam as your mailing address, please enter YORK as your city to receive the Resident Rate.

Players returning from Spring 2026 wear the same uniform. Please read the descriptions and select the correct option for your player(s).


Geared towards current/new 7u (ages 4-7) and 8- & 9-year-olds new to the sport. FUNdamentals is the perfect place for young athletes to learn, grow, and fall in love with the game of softball.
