18 & Under (must be 18 or under as of 8/31/2025)
*PLEASE NOTE*: Our league, South Central PA Softball, has adopted the new birthdate cutoff of 8/31 to align with USA Softball standards. This change places players with September-December birthdays in younger divisions than in previous years.

This age level will begin after the high school season concludes, which is typically mid/late May. All players are expected to play at their respective age level determined by their age as of 8/31/25. Exceptions will only be made by approval of EYRA. For safety reasons, we strive to assign each player to the appropriate level team. An evaluation may be conducted to make this assessment and balance the teams.

Our goal is to give every child the opportunity to play softball. All girls registered by April 7 will be rostered on a team. At that time, we will assess our numbers and determine availability. If space is available, late registration will remain open until April 14 (late fees apply). As team rosters fill, registration will close for this age group, and you will be placed on a wait list. If registration numbers allow, we will create another team within the age group.

*IMPORTANT UNIFORM INFORMATION* - The registration fee DOES NOT include the uniform pieces. We will be using the same uniforms from last year (spring/fall 2025). If you have one that still fits, and is in fair condition, you may use it again.

If you are a NEW player, need a different size or prefer a new uniform, you will receive information on purchasing the required jersey and socks (approx. $30).

All players will be responsible for providing gray pants, shoes (sneakers or cleats) and a glove. Visors and belts are optional.

LOCATIONS: Home games & practices may be held at the St James Church fields in Hallam or at Rexroth Park in Lower Windsor Township.

PRACTICES & GAMES: Teams play in the South Central PA Softball (SCPAS) league and travel to away games. The season traditionally runs May-early August, as the season will begin after the high school season concludes. Practices & games will be held primarily on weekday evenings at either of the above locations. There may be some weekend games.

FEES (does not include uniform – see above):
• Resident (Hallam Borough, Hellam & Lower Windsor Townships) = $125; Non-Resident = $135
• Sibling Discount (applies ONLY to 2nd/3rd/4th, etc.) - $15 discount
• Late Fee: $20 - applied to registrations received after April 7 (pending roster availability)

VOLUNTEERING/FUNDRAISING: We ask each family to do their share in terms of fundraising and volunteering when opportunities are announced. Fundraising helps maintain our fields and purchase equipment.
